Hello and thank you for your interest in the Navy Yacht Club Everett. The following information is provide as an explanation of the application process. Please read this in its entirety before starting the application process.
Begin by selecting your membership type. Memberships are defined as the following: Regular member, Associate member and Bundle member.
Regular Member is available to all active, retired, and honorably discharged members of the Armed Services, DOD, USPHS, USCG Auxiliary and those individuals who possess a valid United States Uniformed Services Identification Card.
Associate Member is available to those who do not meet requirements for Regular Membership as described above. Associate members must be sponsored by a regular member and shall constitute not more than 1/4th of the club membership. In the event that resignation of regular members causes associate memberships to exceed 1/4th of the total membership, there will be a freeze on the addition of new associate members until addition of regular members brings the proportion back into balance.
Bundle Member is the spouse, partner, or significant other of a regular or associate member. Bundle members are for spouses or partners where both persons want the ability to log into our website using their own email and password. Membership dues are charged to the Regular or Associate members. A Bundle member associated to one of these membership types pays no direct dues. The Bundle membership allows the second person to create a profile and provide information about themselves. There is no requirement to use a Bundle membership.
Once an application has been submitted, a member of the Board will contact you to discuss your interest in the club. After that conversation, your application will be submitted to the board for review and approval. Once a decision is made, the applicant will be notified. If approved, a Welcome Aboard email will be sent. this email will welcome you to the club and provide information relating to paying you initial dues. Currently the only only method of payment to the club is using a check. The club is actively seeking the ability to provide electronic payment. Until then, check is the only method of paying for membership.
In addition to membership dues, all new members will be required to pay an additional charge for their burgee and name tags.
